The Dénia Tapas Route celebrates fifteen years of commitment to the hospitality sector and local gastronomy
A new edition of the event begins on October 22.
Dénia, October 14, 2026
The Dénia Tapas Route organized by the guide company ME Comunicació, in collaboration with the Association of Entrepreneurs and Hoteliers of the Marina Alta (AEHTMA) and the Dénia City Council, celebrates its 28th edition and has established itself as one of the most anticipated gastronomic events in the city.
The event celebrates fifteen years and 28 editions of life with new features such as the incorporation of Baleària as a collaborating company or a new prize for participants who share images of their best moments of the Route on social networks.
But if there is something that Manolo Martí, director of guideME Comunicació and organizer of this biannual event, wants to highlight when taking stock of these 15 years of history of the Route, it is "the effort of the participating establishments to maintain the price of the tapa plus drink at 4.50 euros, with the added commitment to maintain the quality and creativity of their gastronomic proposals, at a time when the general increase in costs especially affects the sector."
"We want to especially value this effort of all the participating establishments, who have decided to continue betting on a Route accessible to all and to maintain a moderate price by offering a complete gastronomic experience for 4.50 euros. A decision that demonstrates the hospitality industry's commitment to the Route and, above all, to its customers."
The XXVIII Tapas Route is celebrated from October 22 to November 22 with 48 participating establishments and “with the same spirit that saw it born: highlighting local gastronomy, supporting the hospitality sector and turning Dénia into a great meeting point around its tapas,” says Martí.
The promoter of the initiative wanted to thank the support received during the 15 years of Ruta, "a journey that would not have been possible without the involvement of the participating establishments, the rutappers, the collaborating companies, Turisme Dénia, AEHTMA and the media, which have accompanied, disseminated and given visibility to the initiative edition after edition."
Getaway to the Balearic Islands
The addition of Baleària to the list of collaborators of the Dénia Tapas Route adds a new incentive for rutappers. And, among all the people who participate in the voting for the Route, both through physical passports and through the Rutappa App, a draw will be held for a round-trip ticket for two people Dénia-Ibiza/Formentera.
What does Dénia taste like?
With the initiative "What does Dénia taste like? Tell us about it with a photo!", guideME Comunicació wants this year to reward participants in the Route with a raffle for a gastronomic experience
for two people at the Mena restaurant.
To enter the draw, rutappers will be able to share their favorite moments from the Route on Instagram or Facebook, accompanying their photographs with the hashtag #RutadeTapasDenia. A drawing for the gastronomic experience will be held among all participating publications.“
